About Me

I am currently a graduate student at Marymout University studying to become a teacher. I have a wonderful family that I am very close to. I also have a wonderful dog named Chewy. I enjoy going for runs and spending time with my friends and family.

I recently student taught fifth graders at an elementary school in Alexandria. I fell in love with teaching and learned so much from my in-the-classroom experiences. I enjoy helping children understand things and am in constant awe of their eagerness to learn more and more.

Prior to student teaching I worked for a trade association in Washington, DC. I worked with the top insurance brokerage firms in the world and spent a lot of my time strategizing ways to get college students interested in insurance. I enjoyed my time at the trade association but I felt a need to pursue my love for teaching. Everyday I learn something new and I am so excited to start my journey as a teacher!
